Could not locate the MStrikes that are supposedly in the Sky Terrace. The $ AA were definitely NOT on menu of the (2) $ Gamemakers near the bar/coffeeshop. This might be the most cramped casino I've been in. They literally have machines backed all the way to the table games. I've never seen so many crowded aisles.

While checking out the $1 GameMakers in the Atlantis, I wanted to check the paytables on a "Deuces Wild" game, expecting some hideous ripoff paytable, and discovered that it was full pay triple deuces (99.92%). This game doesn't appear in the database. I believe it was in the machines next to the $1 "radical royals" DB progressive bank.

My Host is Scott Huston..a very outgoing and personable guy..He is able to work with any situation and would recommend contacting him prior to your trip. Be up front with your requests..and Scott will provide you with up front answers. I think you will find him enjoyable to talk with.

As for outing plays, the Atlantis Reno has a play that comes and goes a lot, $1 AA on a couple of machines. It seems to reappear every few months, and then within a week or two of it being mentioned on VP lists, it vanishes again. It's a play in particular that I'd put in the class of "look for it if you're in the casino, and have fun on it if it's there, but don't talk about it if it's there". By now, people should know that it comes and goes from the Atlantis, and so there's nothing to be gained by outing it again when it resurfaces, except causing it to disappear again. The funny thing about this play, is it isn't the best play at the $ level in the Atlantis (by some measures), but it's one that seems to attract a lot of attention on the boards. I didn't make it clear here, but the $1 AA is again gone at Atlantis due to the recent outing, and should be MIA in the database. You wanted confirmation of the $1 10/7/80 DB to the right of the stage, I can confirm that one of the two uprights is 10/7/80 (at least at full coin in), but have not confirmed the other machine (the machines will not let you display the full pay table without putting money in, you only get to see the pay table for the last number of coins someone else played on that game), but it looks like the other machine may not be 10/7/80. It's happened before with 10/7/80 DB and AA that sometimes a game was removed or downgraded from one of two adjacent machines, and left intact on the other.

Confirmed the $1 AA is back in the two machines to the left of the bar. Confirmed the 10/7/80 to the right of the stage. Confirmed the 6 10/7 DB and 6 10/6 DDB machines in the Sky terrace. Got killed on these machines - 16 hours of play ~14,000 hands with just 3 quads -- lost $2,300 on these - location details unknown. Confirmed the four 5 play Multistrike machines. They have SDB, NSUD, and JOB. $1 JOB 9/6 progressive against the wall in high-limit across from the slot club was over $6300 for the royal after I left. - nobody was playing it at all. Confirmed the super times (4) pay JOB paytables only near the poker room. Found 25c (only full pay for 25c) Full pay SDB Spinpokers between the poker room and rock tunnel. Found 10c 10-coin ($1 a hand) pickem in the AA machines near the purple parrot. Food - If you are a seafood lover you must try the 24 piece seafood platter at the Oyster bar. For 25.99 you get 6 lobster claws, 6 oysters, 6 huge shrimp, and 6 large snow crab clusters its is meant for two but I ate it myself for my whole meal - delicious. Other delectables worth trying is the fish and chips, cioppino, pan roasts, and jambalaya - all made with fresh huge amounts of seafood. Inside track - For the occasional visitor the nickel multi-line SDB is the best comp play. You accumulate comps rapidly and if you play on the COD (Sun-Thurs) the play is 100.05%. You must play nickel because the COD is 100-coin bonus for the nickel level only. For 25C it is only a 40 coin bonus and none for 1c or 2c. You can play nickel 5,10,20,50,100 or any amount of hands on the 50-100 play machines. When I return i will go Sun-thurs and play the mickel fifty play SDB to cover comp requirements and mosey on over to the Pepp or Silver legacy for FPDW.

The (2) $5  9/6 JoB in high-limit now pay 4700 for a RF.

The 25c 10/7/80 DB Game Makers across from Atrium Bar next to the $ Radical Royals are MIA.

The (2) $5  9/6/4700 JoB have been replaced with (2) new $5  9/6/4000 JoB.

The two $1 slant-top Bally's Gamemakers that had both AA and 10/7/80 DB had neither of these games. The DB was shorted to less than 10/7 (didn't bother to note whether 9/7 or worse). The two $1 uprights that had 10/7/80 DB still have it. The $1 slant-top 10/7 DB progressive is still intact.

The (2) $1 AA are reported MIA.

(6) new game kings in Sky Terrace have 10/6 ddb, nsud, 10/7 db/ kob 17/5? joker poker at dime & quter level, bet up to 10-coins. The missing bally gamemakers with pick em, AA, & 10/7/80 db are back at sameplaces.

Atlantis has $1 10/7 DB progressive at bartops near tablegames and buffet, and $.25 10-coin multigame and multidenominational slantop machines in the Sky Terrace near the oyster bar have 10/7 DB and 10/6 DDB. The Sky Terrace is non-smoking - YAY!!

Stayed at the Atlantis in the Conciege Tower for 4 days three nights. Limousine pickup at the airport - ontime with friendly staff. All meals and incidentals comped. Steakhouse was excellent sampled Buffalo ribeye, crab, filet mignon, lobster, escargot, shrimp etc. during my stay. Food was fresh and well prepared. Oyster Bar was excellent as well. Highly recommend fish and chips. Italian restarant so so. Service was cheerful and pinpoint. Mozzarella sticks at Cafe Alfresco is a must have. Pizza was above average (not my favorite new york style) Accrued over 750 comp dollars on 110K in action for 3 days. Won $2,100 after expenses on the back of dealt 4 oak - Aces, Straight flush, and 2 drawn Royals on ten play. Played predominantly $10/7/80 and 25C SDB 10 play. The 25c 10/7/80 are still there across from the radical royals. The $1 All American is confirmed dead but the 2 $1 10/7/80's were still going strong on the left side of the stage. Spinpokers have KBJW removed in the Sky Terrace. NSUD, SDB, TDB remains. All other entries (pickem, 5c, 10c AA $1 9/6 job 4700 etc.) in the database are confirmed and in the appropriate locations.

Atlantis 8-10 June - Hotel: We checked in at the rate I was quoted ($59) and were given a large room on the 11th floor in the tower which I later found out was considered a "suite". Room was clean, well-lit, spacious and was furnished very nicely. The bed was comfortable. The floor to ceiling window offered views to the North and NE to Sparks, d/t Reno, and, yes, the Peppermill. No problems with the room. Casino: The main casino was darker than I like, but surprisingly not as smoky as I remember in the past. Most of my gambling time was spent in the Sky Terrace, which is a floor (with machines and the Oyster/Sushi Bar) which sits literally above S. Virginia St. It is a smoke-free area, but the scampi/soy/garlic odors definitely pervade the area from mid-day through early evening. I'll take the trade. In stark contrast to the main casino, the Sky Terrace is well-lit, with the sun glaring through the somewhat-tinted glass roof, making the machine displays almost impossible to see at times. Still this is where I had found the 10/7 DB Spinpoker (5c), my personal weakness, back in February. To my disappointment but not surprise, the paytables have been downgraded to 9/7 for DB, but JoB was still 9/6 and NSUD is still offered. Cocktail service all over the casino was spotty at best, but the servers and the rest of the floor staff were friendly enough. In the mornings, they also offer cookies and donuts along with beverages. Gambling Anecdote. The highlight from our stay at the Atlantis was me being dealt Quad 8's on Spinpoker for $113. As I was about to play it off, Chris said, "you know, I think that's the `card of the day'". Sure enough, the nice change people came by and after a short discussion amongst themselves gave me a hand-pay of $45 (100-coin bonus times 9 lines). Restaurants: Purple Parrot Coffee Shop: Ham and Eggs for breakfast and Prime Rib special at dinner were surprisingly good. Recommended. Oyster Bar (Sky Terrace): I thought the clam chowder (served in a sourdough bread boule) was so good I ordered it for lunch two days straight. The bay shrimp cocktail was also very tasty. Reasonably priced, and highly recommended. Toucan Charlie's Buffet: We had only one meal here (dinner, comped). The selection and quantity was average. The prime rib wasn't as good as what I had had in the coffee shop. I think they also have a seafood buffet on the weekend which might be a lot better. Comps: After a total of $12K coin-in for the two nights (probably about 60/40% VP/Video Slots), I met with a host who offered me one night's room comp plus the dinner buffet. Total comp value: $93. I was hoping for a little more, but we don't have much of a history of playing there, so that may have had something to do with it. After maybe three hours of quarter VP Wednesday night, I was surprised to be comped a breakfast buffet the next morning. This was my first ever comp, by the way. The boothlings were nice, but just didn't give out any information. I stopped by a couple more times during my stay, but was never told "how close" I was to any sort of comp, just that "they were sorry but they couldn't give me anything at this time". I agree with other comments on the database: the practical guy in me can't handle not knowing where I stand. I don't like that the players card simply says "welcome" when inserted. I like the countdown and the points display. So, when comparing Atlantis to Silver Legacy, I thought the hotel room at Atlantis was bigger and better, but the casino floor at Atlantis is so helter skelter and hard to maneuver around, and the comp situation is so secretive, that I feel much more comfortable at Silver Legacy. The buffet is huge and amazing. I "toured" at dinner time and couldn't believe the selection. I ate there for breakfast and it was delicious. I also ate at the Parrot coffee shop twice and was impressed with its quality as well.
