The (2) $1 PE are definitely FP and alive and kicking. They are located along the rail of the pokerroom, all the way at the far corner. As you sit at them, you'll be facing the pokerroom with your back to the entrance. I found 9/6 JB in at least $0.50 (Didn't check all denoms) on some of the bartops (I didn't check them all) in the Sportsbook. I could not locate the 10 coin .25's near the coffee shop.

to 4000) Base Reward Credits in the year to get Platinum status and 10,000 to get Diamond status. Comps don't expire for 6 months, and are banked indefinitely as long as one point is earned every 6 months. Also, comp points can be used at any Harrah's property. Most Marketing offers aren't deducted from your Reward Credit balance. Hosts can over-ride the new Rewards Program to take care of "good" players. Hosts can't give discretionary comps until all reward credits are used up.

As suspected, the NSUD machines at Harrah's Reno sports bar were downgraded at the same time as the DB. I also checked the 2 $1 PKM machines near the live poker room -- they are NOT full pay, the top 3 payouts are all short. This leaves only 99.54% $1 JOB as the best games at the northern Nevada Harrah's: Tahoe, Reno, Harveys & Bills (except maybe a progressive).

I stayed at Harrahs Reno on January 7 through 9th, 2005. The $1.00 10/7 DB at the sports bar in the Sports Casino have been changed to 9/7 DB. The prior weekend (New Years) those where 10/7. In the main casino by the Jade Bar the are also some 9/7 DB in the machines next to the bar. All 10/7 DB have now been downgraded to 9/7. If you like 9/7 DB triple plays they do have the dollar version in the high-limit area.

2 $1 PEs, and 4 25C PEs, they are at the Center Steet part of the casino. The card readers on these machines tend to fail intermittently, even during tracking, when working, they should give the count-down and the session rc's (at $10 per rc). The bonus rc's vary, depending on time of the day, day of the week, your session win/loss, and time on machine. A long session gets significantly more brc's than two short sessions of same total time. The $ DB machines were downgraded to 9/7 recently. If you really want to play DB, walk next door to the Cal Neva where you'll find DB from 5c to $5, including 5c-10c-25c 3-play/5-play/10-play (get the bonus quad coupon from the slot club booth first).

All $ FPDW is gone. Those 6 machines have been totally revamped to nothing but short-pay deuces, and bonus DW games. This means that the $ 10/7 DB is also gone, and the ones in the sportsbar area have been reduced to 9/7. (Many machines have been pulled from that area, as they are planning to install a poker room in May. My expectation is that the Pick Em's will disappear at that time as well.) The .25 8/5 JOB progressive has been removed from the Sports Bar side since my last visit. There are plenty of $1 9/6 Jacks in the new machines, along with 9/7 DB and 8/5 Bonus, but I couldn't find any positive games. One interesting find: two 25c 3/5 play machines which had decent games: NSUD, 9/6 JOB, 9/7 DB & 8/5 BP These are slant-tops, located just outside of Sammy's Showroom. There are two back-to-back banks of 3 machines, but only the two outer machines farthest from the showroom have the decent games. The others look the same, and offer the same games, but with lower pay tables. Also, Steve Chan is an excellent host, who actually came to my machine on a previous trip to offer his services.
