On 8/13 Horsesoe (formerly Caesars) changed the way reward credits are earned and used. They no longer give comps and cash. Accumulated credits (about .125% of coin in) can be used for meals rooms etc. as before or can be redemmed for cash at 1/2 their value (Maximun $100 Per Day). I had been getting Cash and Comps of about .125% of coin in. The notification I received about the change said MORE CASH. The inventory is the same as in the database except most vidio poker is now on the first level with about half in Non Smoking next to the Poker Room. My bounce back cash has been reduced also.

All Super Aces (8/5/60) are MIA. None to be found at any pay scale/denomination. Rest of the inventory appears intact. Note the casino is now officially Horseshoe Southern Indiana as of July 11.

I just returned from an overnight stay and can report on current vp conditions, as well as an update on the remodeling/Horseshoe rebranding. First, the bottom level is still closed for remodeling.  I was told it be closed for another 30 days or so.  I also heard that the casino would officially be the Horseshoe on 7/11.  Keep in mind that in January, they were saying the change would be in March. The majority of the v.p. is now on the second floor.  They have the same slant top Game Kings that were previously on the first floor with the good schedules, including .25 9/6 JoB and .25 8/5 BP.  A bank of 10 of these are located on the immediate right from entering the floor.  Two additional banks of these machines are on the far left, nearby the restrooms. Please correct the current database as follows: 1.  Remove 10/6 JW2 .25 bartops. 2.  Remove 9/6 Bldx .25 bartops. (These do not exist in quarter denom anywhere on the boat).  However, they have .50 and $1.00 on slant top Game Kings as mentioned above.  The bars on levels 2 and 3 also have these. 3.  Add .25 9/6 JoB to the slant top Game Kings as mentioned above.  These also have .50 and $1.00.  The bartops on levels 2 and 3 have this on .50 and $1.00. 4.  Add .25 8/5 BP to the slant top Game Kings as mentioned above.  These also have .50 and $1.00.  The bartops on levels 2 and 3 have this on .50 and $1.00. 5.  Add 16/11 Double Deuces .50 and $1.00 Game Kings as mentioned above. 6.  Add 9/5 Super Double Bonus .50 and $1.00 Game Kings as mentioned above. There are a few dollar machines on the third floor, but I believe they are all short pay.  The bartop on the 4th floor has dollar machines, and I did not check the schedules.  I took a quick peek at the $5.00 machines in high limit, and all are short pay. The boat is still obviously much under remodeling.  The only deli on the boat is now on the second floor, JB's, and it just opened today (to employees only today, so I couldn't try it).  The menu looked good and varied.  The bar on the second floor has been moved to the right side of the boat and is completely different - new tilted plasma screens for the v.p., ultra modern seats and signage, etc.  They have a d.j. playing classic dance music, and it was quite loud last night but also a lot of fun to watch (for a little while).  Two older gentlemen were dancing by themselves and drew quite a crowd on the makeshift dance floor.  No changes (as yet) to the restaurants in the pavilion area or the hotel.  The new Total Rewards is now open in the boarding area.  The hierarchy for the different tiers (i.e. Platinum and Seven Stars) is much more apparent than ever at the cashiers and Total Rewards.  There is now only one lane for the peon gold and platinum players (such as myself).  I realized that my platinum card "don't get me no respect" there in any of the lines. Regardless, it's still a good property; and hopefully the v.p. will not be destroyed with the turnover to the Horseshoe.

They are completely redoing the first floor and second floor of Casino. I would not recommend anyone visiting Casino who play Video Poker until they get the remodeling finished. I don't know if they are going to change pay tables on machines or what. My wife and I went this past weekend and needless to say we were very disappointed.

The boat was reconfigured a couple of months ago. It would seem that all video poker machines from the bottom three decks have been consolidated on the first floor (I didn't make it to deck 4, so no information regarding those machines). They have opened up the inventory of 9/6 25 cent JoB to include about a dozen uprights and about one hundred (100) console Game Kings!!!! These are all multidenomination and include 9/6 JoB for 50 cent and dollar players as well. There are numerous Game King uprights with 8/5 JoB at the quarter level and full pay for higher stakes. Lots of another brand VP machines, but I didn't see any full pay JoB (will scour paytables next trip and report back). I did note a couple of Triple Bonus Plus (TB+ full pay 99.80%) at the 50 cent-and-up play levels on the console Game Kings. There are over a dozen different games on each machine, so it will take time to look through all variations to find other full pay opportunities. The dozen uprights with 25c  9/6 JoB along the wall of the 1st deck are now moved to the center of the floor. The casino has switched to Harrah's Total Rewards. After two trips, the best I can make out is: $5 cash in slots or $10 cash in VP equals one base/tier point. Bonus points seem to be about three times the base points. Cashback seems to be about 1.8% of base points. Comps seem to be about 4% of base points (or about 1% of the sum of base and bonus points). With more experience these numbers will be refined. At this point, the bounce back cash seems to be lower with Total Rewards (maybe 1.5 times average cashback/trip) but the cashback and comps seem a bit better than the old system. CB: 55 Reward Credits = $1; BBC: 35 Reward Credits = $1; Comps: 25 Reward Credits = $1. Time will tell more.

Just visited Caesars Indiana over the weekend. Quarter 9/6 JoB and 8/5 Bonus has apparent returned to all Game King machines throughout the boat. These are the same machines that also have 50c and $1 games. Some have 16/11 Double Deuces.

Caesars Indiana - I couldn't find any full pay pick'em .25. They've also replaced a number of the .25/.50/$1 9/6 JOB Videos on the 4th floor with short pay Bally's gaming machines with pick-em, but short.

I just wanted to correct something that appears on your Caesars Indiana page. The dozen (or so - I did not count them) uprights against the wall on level one do still have 25 cent 9/6 JOB. Otherwise all I have seen are tons of 50 cent or 1 dollar at least on levels one and three.

Caesars has installed if not all, almost all TI/TO machines with .25/.50/$1 MG. The best games are Bonus Deluxe, BP, ACES Bonus,Super Aces, 9/6 JoB, TBD. The full pay are .50 and $1 with .25 games downgraded. They also have Triple Play $1 Super Aces as well as $5/$10/$20 9/6 JoB on the 4th deck. "Caesars One" players get a 25% bonus on cash back. This all will probably be immaterial if the Harrah's buyout goes through but until that happens I have seen a big improvement in Caesars over the past few months except they no longer have NSUD as someone else reported. They also allow retail comps that do not affect your cash or regular comp balances.

The quarter MG machines on Level 1 have been replaced with the same MG/MD machines that are now found all over the boat. This means no more quarter 9/6 JB anywhere. But there's 50c and $1 9/6 JB and 8/5 BP all over the place. Some of these machines also have Double Deuces at 16/11 for halves and dollars (15/10 for quarters). These machines seem to be scattered throughout - only a handful of machines seemed to have it. I only saw two machines with it, in separate banks. Didn't have time to check them all out.

ALL full pay pick 'em 25c/$1 Game Makers on levels 1 and 3 have been replaced with short pay.
