Half of the slanttops that were 100% Optimum games are now advertised as $1199 tax Relief Royals (4796 coin) but on short pay games - like 8/5 Bonus pkr, all quads pay 30-1 instead of 35-1. I do dabble in JW, and this is the the same 17-7-5 game that is listed (so slightly better at 4796 vs 4700 for the RF). Pts seem to be set at $2/1pt like the other multigames where JW 17-7-5, 4700 is found.

Splash bar single line machines have been downgraded from 8/5 bonus to 7/5 bonus They've removed 5 of the ten 99.54 machines south of the sports book and west of The Cove bar. These machine are 25¢, 50¢, $1.00

The 10 machines by the outback have been moved to south of the sports book and west of the cove bar. There are two table tops with two each 9/6 machines bordering the entryway into the non smoking area from the river that have been added.

As part of the renovations to the Cove Bar area, new bar top machines have been installed. The 9/6 JOB previously available is now not there. There is triple line 25c 8/5 bonus poker on three of the new machines. I am not sure what the best game is on the other ones.

The Cove Lounge area through the sportsbook area is closed and walled off for construction. So the machines at the Cove bar are MIA, at least temporarily.

Regarding the California, South Tower: I just wanted to leave word about our stay the last 3 days- room 10084. When we first got there we went to our room 11080, they were shampooing the carpet when we walked in, so we called the front desk and Mona said go to 10084. She met us there with a key and was terrific in helping us. I turned in a room report for 2 days now and nothing was done. The room was dusty, not being cleaned when we arrived, the toilet seat was missing paint in the front, the sink drain did not work, and the cold water faucet in the sink was broken and not put on correctly. These are things that the room attendant should have noticed and reported it. I am very quick to point out things that are wrong in the room, and would have expected them fixed and cleaned. This is unlike any other stay at Aquarius. We will continue to make it our hotel/casino of choice, but there needs to be closer inspection of the rooms before guests arrive.

All of the Optimum play machines by the Splash Cabaret are gone. A floor person told me they had been removed from the casino floor. The full pay dollar progressive double bonus and double double bonus machines remain in their same location.

IMHO, this is the nicest casino experience in Laughlin. Plenty of room to walk around the casino floor. High ceilings, friendly staff, nice background music. The back bar (Cove Lounge) now serves food so the whole back section of the casino is now non-smoking. All the games in the "Optimum Play" bank near the Cabaret lounge, need $4 for a point. So earning points on this bank is difficult.

The two 5$ Jacks or Better have been downgraded to 9/5.

Most of the inventory is accurate however I could not find the triple play 9/6 JOB in the high limit area

It appears that it takes a about $615 of coin in on 9/6 Jacks to earn one Tier Point.

5/22/12 Some of the machines in the non-smoking area were being worked on. Marked out of service and maybe being moved.

I have not been able to find the extra five 25c 10/7 DB machines "deep in from the main entrance." I think there are just the 10 optimum play machines near Splash. Also, the DDB in optimum are not 100% because the straight flush is set at 200.

Regarding the 5 $1 DB and 5 $1 DDB progressives: The bank is still there, just moved a bit deeper (10 ft) into the casino.
