Several banks of video poker machines have returned to the 2nd floor at the Cal. Most are multigame machines. No noteworthy paytables have been reported.

The casino area on the Mezzanine Level at the Cal is now being remodeled. Most of the machines, Dave's Bar and the escalator are all walled-off.

An employee said that the banquet rooms are being expanded, the escalator down to the main floor will be unavailable for about three months.

As of June 21st all the remaining machines on the Mezzanine Level have been removed.

California Casino Host Bonita Spurgin has retired. Olivia Gruspe is a new host there.

The Main St. Bar has closed.

The new Sports Bar and Lounge is now open on the main floor in front of the players club. Paytables on the 25c, 50c and $1 bartop video poker are ones such as 7/5 BP (98.01%) and lower.

Some machine locations may be temporary because remodeling of the casino is continuing.

The non-TITO machines at the Cal, MSS and Fremont now have new flat screen monitors and also new stickers saying "not valid for promotions".

For those of you who like 25c triple play progressives, there's one old machine at the Cal against the wall near the east tower elevators. The games in descending order are DW44 (98.91%), 8/6/26 JoB (98.63%), 9/6/5 DB (98.14%), 6/5 BP (96.87%) and 8/5 DDB (96.79%). Each line has its own royal flush progressive and there is no separate dealt royal progressive.
