I just left Laughlin and can verify that both Trop and River Palms have pulled their 100% machines.

On the lower level, at the south end, are six 25 cent upright Tito Game Kings with the following games: 1) 9/6 Jacks or better with 90 to 1 for a straight flush 2) Double Double Bonus 3) Full Pay Joker Poker with 5 machines showing a 4000 royal with 5 coins bet and one machine with 4700 for the royal 4) USA Poker (full pay All American) 5) Full Pay Deuces Wild Points accrue at the rate of one point for $300 of play. I do not know the rate for comp but assume that it is something equally pathetic.

At River Palms 7/22-24. MIA 9/6 Bdlx, MIA DW44, MIA all 9/5 WHA, MIA 50c JoB/BP/DDB; MIA 5c DW44/DB/DDB, MIA $1 BP/DDB. Also MIA was the Subway Restaurant! Only FP left are the (4) $1,$2 BP in High Limit area where Subway used to be; (4) AllStar 25c 3/5/10 Play and 1-9 Spin 8/5BP, 9/7DB, 9/6DDB in High Limit; and (6) 25c 8/5BP, 9/7DB, 9/6DDB upstairs in s/e most island. There are 25c and $1 8/5 WHA available in various locations upstairs.

I was at the River Palms last night (7/13)and ALL of the old coin drop machines were being removed...this includes the last two (.25)FPDW. Per the staff they are to be replaced with TITO machines...unknown paytables, my guess is they will be short pay machines and/or slots only. we'll see.

No longer get a food discount for "Young-at-Heart" players

There are now only two FPDW which require $6 in to get a point. It is rumored that these two are not long for this world. The 10/7 DB are history. Only four coin ploppers left in the place.

The eight MG/MD 9/6 JOB 99.5% 25/50/1 machines at the bar in the Comedy Club have all been downgraded to 9/5. River Palms has a new high limit area upstairs near the Subway Food Outlet. In this area all JOB, BP, and DDB pay triple on 4 eights. The only *full pay* machines in this area are 4 MG/MD machines that have BP 99.2% in one and two dollar denominations only.

At the River Palms, I only found 4 of the 25c NSUD and they were put "Out of Service" this morning 1/3/09 with techs working on them.

River Palms has 8 MG machines at the bar in its Comedy Club. All 8 machines have 25c/50c/$1 9/6 JoB. All of the other games on these machines are definitely not *full pay*.

I have found that the RP marketing offers operate on a daily average - not a monthly average. So if you are spreading out that $3500 to $4000 a month over multiple days, you are just diluting your "average". I usually will spend a few hours down there and put through $1,000 to $1,500. That seems to keep the free room offers coming to me.

Here's what I found in the last week in Laughlin. At the RP, there are 3 $.05 NSUD MG/MD Spin Poker Deluxe just outside the Poker Room and not just 1. At the nickel level, these games also have 9/7 DB and 9/6 DDB. There are $.25 9/6 DDB uprights along the wall in Winner's Wharf.
