Buffet is only open on the weekend. Breakfast: 7 am - noon Sat & Sun, $9.95, children 10 and under $7.95. Dinner: 4 pm - 9 pm Fri & Sat $11.95, children 10 and under $8.95. There are two separate rooms for Dotty's. One is near the bar and the second is to the left of hotel registration and has views of the river.

The buffet was closed for remodel. Not sure when it will reopen. Denny's on the lower level is open 24/7. There is a no smoking section to the left of hotel registration. Nothing worth playing in the main casino section. There were no actual table games, only the electronic versions. The old River Palms bingo room is labelled "Dotty's" and has some playable games at $1. This is also where the self serve snacks are available. The self serve soft drinks are in the main section.

Casino Opened

DOTTY's as owner (but called the Laughlin River Lodge Casino) - didn't have anything playable for .25c and less imho - and multi denom games from .01-.02-.05-.10-.25 each had DIFFERENT games for each denom - so took me a while to check most of them. Only the 'deuces-joker' wild games might have been close to 'fullpay'....most games were not. Also - be careful, as most of these denoms were also set as '1-100' coin bet machines, so if you were to hit 'max bet'....well, your buyin might be used up on 1 play! sampling of games I saw: USA poker 7-7-7 instead of 8-8-8, and probably short on sf also. Pick-A-Pair only pays 20 vs 25 on the crucial 3K hand, and 4k 500 vs 600, SF 1000 vs 1200, and RF was not 10000. BP 9-6-4-2-2-1 or 10-6-4-2-2-1 .10c/.05c and lower; .25c was probably 7/5 BP at best, but I also saw 6/5 (perhaps Ace$ bonus?). 9-6-4 DB, 8-5-4 ddb, you get the idea. Even some new manufactured games list their returns for different games as 95%-98% at best. Promos - There are a few bulletin boards posting a monthly calendar and different daily promotions; These are also in the boutique casinos and near the slot club booth (as well as a self-serve soft drink machine in that area that would have led to Subways; Much of the open area with balcony, and 2 main escalators going down are 'blocked off' - future renovation project.

The Dotty's slot club base rate is 0.1 cash back. They give 1.5X points at all times for video poker which works out to 0.15%. The exceptions are 6 AM to noon for players 50+ and midnight to 6 AM for everyone when video poker is 2X or 0.2%. All Dotty's have NSUD as the best paytable with many games in the 99%+ range but only at $1+ denomination.

Just some general notes. I got my slot new slot card. It is good here and at all Dotty's "casinos" in Vegas. There was a Dotty's representative supervising a couple of holdover employees. There was no club brochure describing benefits. No one knew what the points earned were worth. Presently points earned can receive cash back or merchandise. No food comps. I wandered through the casino. I didn't see anything decent for quarter players. I did see a few JOB 6-9 and NSUD (99.73) games for dollar and up players. They also had some "different" machines. They will make all the holds for you. Cards of the day. Certain 4 of a kinds get you a spin of a bonus wheel. All payoffs are in money not credits. Higher amounts wagered paid give you a higher payback. It looked like dollar and up players are supposed to receive 99% payback.

The casino is now open, Nov 1, but there isn't information on machines yet.
