I was there July 29-August 1 and couldn't not find a single $5 single line 9-6 Jacks or Better machine. All the $5 Gamemakers were 8-5, with no exceptions. Everything else is as stated within the site.

The $5  9/6 JoB are still there.

For those of you who persevered in boycotting MS, your strategy might have worked. All $5, $10, & $25 Pick 'Em is back to full-pay. MS might be the only place in North America that has this now in $25 denom for those who want to brave it and its 352,000 hand royal cycle. I did not see any $1 converted as yet though. They also have two $5 GameMakers with full-pay JOB; they are the second ones in from the left and the right in the bank of 7 in the high-limit area of the Sky casino. All bartops in Bow&Arrow and Hall of Lost Tribes still have $1 9/6 JOB. There are signs on many of the machines in the Sky high roller area stating that it takes $270 to earn $1 in comps.

While there is conflicting info as to exactly how the hosts computer determines who gets admitted into a lounge automatically, I was told that a $425 daily theo is the magic number. Whether this is averaged over your last 6 visits or 30 days or minimum/visit remains inconclusive. I did get to see my computer screen again. My nights play at the 9/6 $1 JOB at a Bow & Arrow bartop yielded a theo of 8.35% of my coin-in. I also noticed an exclusive nights play at a .25 PKM earlier in the year yielded a theo of an interestingly low 4.5% of my coin-in. Back when there was full-pay $1 PKM in the old poker room I indicated my theo was 6% of coin-in. Apparently, via host's conversation, the computer is classifying the bartops as penny machines even though they are multi-denom -- hence, the high theo classification.

The full pay .25 pickem in the old poker room are back as of 5/1.

They just downgraded the points on quarter machines to 1/180 from 1/90. This is worse than the 1/160 that they upped it from a couple months ago.

I was at MS last night and they had shut down the 2 rows of gamemakers in the old poker room (one set contained .25 FP Pickem) and were playing with the motherboards, so that can't be good either. There are only 2 bars left with $1 9/6 JoB also (bow and arrow and hall of lost tribes).

Both of the 50 plays that had the 8/5 SAs are now 6/5. There is a 3/5 play $5 MG on your immediate right as you enter the Hall of Lost Tribes from the entrance closest to the parking garage has 9/6 JOB for both 3 and 5 play. Can bet up to 10-coins for high rollers.

Stopped by the Mohegan Sun Wednesday, all the $1 and $5 Pick'Em in the old casino were out of service. 25 cent remained full pay, but were all taken. Walked over to the new section, all the $5 Pick'Em have been converted to short pay. All $1/$5 single line JoB have also been downgraded (except at the bars) and the $25 PKM is MIA.
Feb, 2005
The remaining 2 $10 PE machines in the new casino have been downgraded.

The Racebook Bartops were upgraded to TITO, but along with this they downgraded the $1 JOB to 8/5. Very disappointing as this was a nice quiet place to play. The Bow and Arrow and Video Star bars still had $1 Job as of 2/18/05.

The 25c PKM machines now earn 1 point per $90 coin-in.

A host at MS told us that parking, swipping your card, checking your card for points or shopping is not considered a day of play for averages unless you put $s in a machine. We asked him whether it would be better for a h & w who play once a week for x$ each to play one week under his card for 2x$ and the next week under hers for 2x$. The host said it would be better, even though frequence of visits is considered as well as avarage theo. Also, you can't use one card if 1 plays tables and 1 plays machines. Note further that sometimes hosts answer questions without definite knowledge.

There are 2 FP Super Aces on the 3/5 play $5 machines in the new high-limit slots area in the circular bank near the entrance to the lounge.
