Just got back from MS and all the bartops have been changed since our last visit two weeks ago except for the cabaret bar. They are now .01, .05 .25 and $1 denomination. The machines were tied up with penny and nickel playsers and getting a seat was really difficult. The cabaret bar will soon undergo these changes also. There are no more 10-coin $1 JOB at the bartops.

The (4) $1  9/6 JOB slant-tops in a carousel near the Wolf Den are MIA. Add (3) $5 PE slant-top Gamemakers in the high-limit slot room in the old casino.

Just came back from the Sun. Half of the GameMakers were converted to quarters and the others ($1) were moved to the left half of the room. Half of the IGT's there were converted to quarters and moved to the right half of the room. So now all quarters to the right and all dollars (& $5) to the left with same pay scales. So no more waiting in line for you quarter people; it's the dollar people's turn.

As far as Sagamore status, I have been told that your host proposes you and a committee passes on the application. They are looking for history over a couple years as well as play level, since this status is seldom revoked once granted. As previously discussed, there is little benefit other than immediate lounge access and parking. You need a $35K yr gross theo for Sagamore and $50K for Sachem cards. I got a Sagamore card in the mail today, played there since March. Put in 50K+ per day about once a week.

You only need one hour of play at $5/hand (ie. 5 x $1) to be admitted into a lounge (sachem, feather, or arrow). You can get 24 hrs of lounge access for every day that qualifies, but they will only look back 30 days. He let me see my computer screen which showed my numbers (theos, avg's, etc.) None of the hosts who have seen my account were able to tell whether I was playing slots or VP; they treated it as the same game. No where did my screen show an actual loss, just the theoreticals. Using simple division, and having played only $1 PE, I was able to determine the theo they use for this is almost exactly 6%. I was interested in finding out what one needed to get comp concert tickets. Ced told me they look at 2 criteria. Your present 4 month average theo (per day), and your 1 year gross theo; you need to pass both. The requirement varies from show to show and can vary from day to day based on whether the artist has become more or less popular than expected. So I asked about an average show like Dolly Parton (now sold out of comp's). For her you needed a 4 month avg theo of $600, and a year gross theo of $30K. For Cher it got as high as $1500 avg theo. before it went back down. The gross theo is generally going to be 50 times the avg theo. So they "expect" you to gamble at least 50 days/yr; if you were there only 25, you'd have to gamble twice as much on the days you're there. While this might be the criteria for shows, it might similarly apply to other comps as well. Haaljo has written you need a $35K yr gross theo for Sagamore and $50K for Sachem cards. What is interesting that I've been told by other hosts as well is that gambling only a little on some days is worse than not gambling at all since it will lower your 4 month avg.

I've been told that my theo is $1400 per trip. I average 30-40K and would put the theo closer to 4%. Then again, there seems to be very few people working at MS that know what their talking about.

Just got back from Mohegan and all the bartops are multi game, multi denomination games. .5, .25, 1.00. I think they are game kings. The JOB at the dollar level is full pay. Some of the machines allow you to play 10-coins instead of five. I noticed at least one at each bar. Also, the bank of dollar FP pickum were out of service and being worked on. The tech said it was a software upgrade. Hopefully, they didn't change the pay tables. Just remembered that the sports bar is the only one with out the multi denomination games. The bar in the Hall of Lost tribes is TITO. I think that all the bars will be TITO eventually.

There's a single $25 (and a $10) GameMaker in the elevatedpart of the high roller section in the old casino.

Was at MS this past weekend, and noticed a couple machines that aren't in the database. In the Hall of Lost Tribes casino, there is a single $5 full-pay PE machine (TITO gamemaker, also had 9/6 JoB), and a single $5 3/5 play 9/6 JoB machine. They're adjacent to each other, and located on your immediate right as you enter the Hall of Lost Tribes from the entrance closest to the parking garage / bus area. I also noticed at least three $0.25 full-pay PE machines (gamemakers, don't remember if they were TITO) in the non-smoking area of the Sky casino behind the blackjack tables. They were mixed in with short-pay games, so check the paytables if you play there.

The bar in the hall of lost tribes has $1 and $2 9-6 JOB.

The bar at the Hall of the Lost Tribes (non-smoking area of old casino) has TITO multi-demon games with 9/6 JOB at the $1 level. Couldn't get to see if this is for all the machines or just some. Also the bar at the racebook has 9/6 on the $1 coin machines (they have been around for a long time, but I didn't see them on the database.)

I was at Mohegan twice last week and I found a .25 fifty play machine in the new casino near the daily swipe machines that had FP Super Aces. I did not have a chance to check the others since people were playing them. I'm sure these were there since they opened the new section.

The new high-limit area is in the Casino of the Sky in the large open area adjacent to the Wombi Rock. The reason I call it the new high-limit area is because the smaller high-limit area in the original or as I call it the old casino was there first. These are the only high-limit areas in the MS casino as far as I know.

I have received 2 coupons for $125 each to use at Mohegan Sun for two periods in Dec. They are good for all goods and services in the Hotel,Spa, and retail shops. My wife received one for $20 and 1 for $30. I was curious if anyone received a higher denomination and if you did, at what rate/game do you play? Thanks. I avg 4 to 6 hours at $1 JOB once every 1 to 2 months.
