The new owner of the Ocean Resort Casino (formerly the Revel Casino Hotel Atlantic City) has announced an opening date of June 28, 2018.

Revel Casino closed Tuesday September 2, 2014.

Received email from Revel regarding closing.
Revel officially closes 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2014.
Any Revel casino chips, free slot play, resort dollars, slot vouchers and Revel gift cards may be redeemed at casino prior to Sept. 2.
After closure, any person holding Revel casino chips and valid slot vouchers may present those items for redemption at the Revel General Cashier Office until September 15, 2014 from Monday to Friday during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Enter through the employee entrance on New Jersey Avenue. A Revel Security officer will escort persons to Cashier Office.
Earning free slot play will end at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 1 and redemption of all earned free slot play must be done by 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2. To speak with a representative, call 609-348-0500.

98.45% 9/5 JoB located throughout the casino. They are all triple play and at the $2 level only.

The casino is no longer 100% non-smoking.

Revel has 7/5 (98.61%) SDDB throughout the casino. On every video poker machine 2$ and up. It's the best version of SDDB in the city

All the slant tops, including the two machines with the 9/6 games, between the Ultra-Lounge and escalators were just down around 1:00 AM on 8/9. I don't know if the shut down means a change in paytables or if it was just for maintenance.

The Revel Atlantic City is 100% non-smoking.

Back from another weekend in AC. Scouted at Revel again. I found two more $1, $2, $5 machines (4 total). Also found $1 9/6 JoB slant tops scattered throughout the casino. One location easy to find is near the electronic roulette machines. The other locations have no clear distinctions. People just have to find them for themselves.

I found only one full-pay Jacks Or Better machine in the entire casino. If there are more, I couldn't find them. I will stick with the Borgata.
