Penn National Gaming received final Nevada Gaming Commission approval today 8/20/15 to take over the Tropicana Las Vegas Casino. Their purchase of the casino from Onex Corp. is expected to close next week. News article here.

The FPDW by the promotion area is MIA. The one along the wall (and all the other vp's there) were out of service.

I could not find a full pay JOB anywhere, the Tropicana has gone 8/5, 7/5 and we even saw 6/5 at certain bar tops.

I have just returned from Las Vegas and wanted to update you on the DB 10/7 machines at the Tropicana, which have all been downgraded to 9/6 machines. I checked with one of the floor managers, who confirmed that there are no longer any DB 10/7 machines. But there is plenty of DB 9/6 - machines are scattered throughout the casino.
